Ali is the Managing Director of Ncume Labour Consulting. He is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa. Despite the latter, Ali is a lecturer in the Mercantile Law department at the Nelson Mandela University (“NMU”). He is also a part-time Commissioner at the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (“CCMA”); South African Local Government Bargaining Council (“SALGBC”); Education Labour Relations Council (“ELRC”); Safety & Security Sectoral Bargaining Council (“SSSBC”) etc. Ali completed his LLB, LLM and Certificate in Labour Law Practice at NMU.
